ITS Hungary is an association of organisations operating in the field of intelligent transport systems in Hungary. Its members offer a range of innovative solutions and services to meet the dynamically changing and growing needs of users. The Association is acting as a professional forum, providing mutual support and the opportunity to exchange experiences and data. The Association’s founding members are the most important national representatives of intelligent transport systems, including relevant ministries, road network operators, Hungarian manufacturers, developers and service providers, research institutions and consultancies. The main objectives of ITS Hungary are to promote national consensus and cooperation in Hungarian telematics applications across all transport sub-sectors; to support the implementation of Hungarian ITS systems and services and their integration into the services of the trans-European network; to cooperate at national, regional and international level by participating in joint projects and technology transfer and to provide a space for discussions on a Hungarian national ITS strategy.
