More high-level speakers to share their insights at TRA


Grazia Vittadini is Chief Technology Officer of Airbus. Vittadini also serves as a committee member in the Executive Committee and Inclusion and Diversity Steering Committee of Airbus, as well as a Director of the Airbus Foundation Board. Earlier in her career, Vittadini served as Head of Engineering at Airbus Defence and Space, Head of Corporate Audit & Forensic as well as Head of Airframe Design and Technical Authority for all Airbus aircraft. Grazia graduated in Aeronautical Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano. At TRA2020, Grazia will be speaking in the plenary on Clean transport – URGENT ACTION!

Jan Meyer is the CEO of Meyer Turku Oy, one of the leading European shipbuilding companies. Meyer’s extensive career in the shipbuilding industry includes several senior positions in the Meyer Werft shipyard. Jan has a strong academic background in Naval Architecture, including an MSc from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a PhD from Jacobs University. Cecilia Bonefeld-Dahl is Director General of DIGITALEUROPE, the leading digital technology industry association. Bonefeld-Dahl has more than 20 years of experience in the ICT industry, including international positions at IBM and Oracle as well as with SMEs. Cecilia also holds several board member positions in high-level organisations. She has deep insights into the digitalisation of business and society, and the data-driven economy, and is regularly invited to deliver keynote speeches on these issues at high-level events across the world. Cecilia will be speaking in the plenary on Data-driven mobility.

José Viegas is a Professor of Transportation at the University of Lisbon. Between August 2012 and August 2017, Viegas was Secretary-General of the ITF (International Transport Forum at the OECD), where he led a program of structural reform. Prior to joining the ITF, Viegas was Full Professor of Transportation at the University of Lisbon, where he was Head of Research Unit and national Director of the Transport Area of the MIT-Portugal program. He is currently a freelance consultant on sustainable mobility and strategic change, having led several high-profile projects in the field. At TRA2020, José will be speaking in the plenary on European competitiveness.
