Join these high-level speakers at TRA2020

Phil Blythe, Nina Kopola, François-Régis Le Tourneau and Lars Stenqvist

Representatives of Volvo, L’Oreal, Busines Finland and the British Department for Transport will be speaking in TRA2020 plenary sessions on clean transport, European competitiveness and data-driven mobility.

Lars Stenqvist is Executive Vice President of Volvo Group Trucks Technology, and Volvo Group Chief Technology Officer. Stenqvist has a strong experience in the heavy vehicles industry with several years of international experience. Earlier in his career, he worked for the Swedish truck maker Scania and the Volkswagen Group. To hear what Lars has to say about European competitiveness, mark the plenary session on the subject.

François-Régis Le Tourneau is ALICE chair and Corporate Supply Chain Standards and Prospective Director in L’Oréal. He has a strong track record in executive positions in Controlling & Finance as well as Supply Chain Management. During the last 25 years at L’Oréal, François-Régis has managed organisational and transformational projects on selective and consumer channels with impacts on large teams. He is now in charge of setting and digitalising the referential and standards for the company. François-Régis will be speaking at the plenary session on Data-driven mobility.

Nina Kopola is the Director General of Business Finland, the Finnish government organisation for innovation funding and trade, travel and investment promotion. Kopola is an experienced corporate leader, best known for her career as the CEO of Suominen Corporation, where she successfully transformed Suominen’s business strategy. Kopola is also known as her pioneering role as a female CEO: for a long time, she was the only woman heading a publicly listed company in Finland. Kopola holds several board memberships among the business community. In TRA2020, Nina will be speaking at the plenary on European competitiveness.

Phil Blythe is Chief Scientific Adviser for the British Department for Transport and Professor of Intelligent Transport Systems at Newcastle University. Phil has been researching in the field of intelligent Transport Systems since the late 1980s. In his role at the DfT he provides a challenge function to the Department on the use of science and engineering evidence in policy-making and also ensuring the Department is best informed on new innovations and technologies. Phil will be speaking at the plenary session on Data-driven mobility.
