The TRA 2026 committees bring together experts from across Europe, reflecting the full spectrum of the transport research and innovation community. Members represent every mode of transport — road, rail, waterborne, and air — as well as leading institutions from both the public and private sectors. Their combined knowledge ensures that the conference captures the latest insights, trends, and perspectives shaping the future of mobility.
The Steering Committee includes representatives from the European Commission and the Hungarian host institutions. This body defines the overall direction of the event, ensuring that TRA 2026 aligns with European transport priorities while showcasing Hungary's growing role in research and innovation.
The Program Committee is made up of distinguished academics, industry leaders, and policymakers who curate the scientific content of the conference.
