Hungexpo Budapest Congress and Exhibition Center

The Hungexpo Budapest Congress and Exhibition Centre — home of TRA 2026 — is Hungary’s largest and most modern event complex, designed to host world-class conferences and exhibitions.

Hungexpo offers over 75,000 square meters of indoor and outdoor space, including a 2,000-seat plenary hall, 21 multifunctional conference rooms, and state-of-the-art exhibition pavilions.

Accessibility

How to reach the venue (Hungexpo) which is located at H-1101 Budapest, Albertirsai út 10. You can also find more information on the venue's website - https://hungexpo.hu/en/accessiblity/:

1. Use metro line M2 (red line) towards the Örs vezér tere terminus. This metro line has several stops in the city centre such as Deák Ferenc tér, Keleti Railway station or Astoria.
2. From Örs vezér tere, board the dedicated Bus 10, which takes you directly to the entrance. Get off at: „II-es kapu" (Gate II) or
3. the venue is also accessible on foot from a metro station. Take metro line M2 and get off at “Pillangó utca” station. From there, walk 15–20 minutes to Hungexpo – “II-es kapu” (Gate II).

The return journey:

1. Take Bus 10 from Hungexpo – „II-es kapu” (Gate II) stop to the „Pillangó utca" stop or
2. Alternatively, walk 15 – 20 min from Hungexpo to the „Pillangó utca" stop
3. Transfer there to metro line M2 towards Déli pályaudvar terminus (heading back toward the city center) or

Alternative options to reach the venue:

• Trolleybus 80 or 73: from Keleti Railway Station, you can take Trolleybus 80 (heading toward Örs vezér tér) or 73 (heading toward „Kápolna tér”) to the „Kerepesi út / Albertirsai út" stop, followed by a short 15-20 min walk.
• Tram 37 / 37A: from Blaha Lujza tér (heading toward „Salgótarjáni utca”), these trams stop at „Kőbánya felső vasútállomás", near the back gates of Hungexpo.
