Jens Holtinger, born in Sweden in 1970, assumed the role as Executive Vice President of Volvo Group’s Trucks Technology & Industrial Division in January 2026. He joined Volvo Group in 1995 and has served on the Volvo Group Executive Board since 2020. As Head of Trucks Technology & Industrial Division, Jens Holtinger holds the end-to-end responsibility for procurement, development, and production of truck s globally . He leads a technology, purchasing and industrial organization of 47,000 colleagues, focusing on delivering value to customers across the entire regional value chain. As Chief Technology Officer, Jens Holtinger is responsible for shaping Volvo Group's technology strategy across its full portfolio of products and services, with an emphasis on
advanced transport solutions in electromobility, connectivity, and autonomy. He leads the global research and development organization, steering innovation toward next -generation software -defined vehicles powered by batteries, fuel cells, and renewable energy sources. With over three decades of experience in the transport sector, Jens Holtinger has held several senior leadership roles within Volvo Group. Prior to his current position , Jens served as Executive Vice President of Volvo Group Trucks Operations, overseeing global truck manufacturing, including cab and vehicle assembly, powertrain production, and logistics for production and service markets.Jens Holtinger holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. He is the Chairman of Proterra and Logivity and also serves as a Board Member of Teknikföretagen (Technology Industries of Sweden)
