Dr. Stéphane Petti is a strategic and technical leader with 25 years of experience at the intersection of robotics, digital systems and industrial innovation. His career has been shaped by a strong interest in how advanced technologies can be translated into scalable solutions with real economic and societal impact. His professional background spans industry, telecommunications and European public finance, from advanced product development and connected digital systems, to technology assessment and investment-related due diligence. He has worked closely with industrial players, innovators and EU institutions, operating at the interface between technology, investment and public policy, with a strong focus on execution, technical credibility and risk-based decision-making. Since January, he has been contributing to the European Innovation Council (EIC) Fund, where he conducts technical due diligence on innovative and breakthrough technologies to inform investment decisions in European scale-ups. Building on a background spanning clean technologies, mobility and digital systems, his current work focuses on assessing digital and deep-tech solutions with strategic relevance for Europe, with particular attention to maturity, scalability, execution risks and industrialisation pathways. Throughout his career, he has valued cross-sector collaboration, mentoring and systems-level thinking, convinced that Europe’s technological future will be built through rigorous technology assessment, disciplined execution and long-term vision.
