Plenary Speakers

Emanuela Stocchi President of PIARC, the World Road Association, since January 2025.
She served as well PIARC in various roles, as member of the Executive Committee, as Chair of the PGID team (promotion of gender inclusion and diversity), as French-speaking secretary for the C-TERM terminology committee.
Emanuela is also Acting Director General and Director of International Affairs for AISCAT, the Italian Association of Toll Highways Concessionaires Companies. She has an outstanding international background, and she fluently speaks Italian, French, English and Spanish.
Emanuela spent many years in Brussels working in ASECAP, the European Association of Toll Highways Concessionaires Companies, gaining a solid and comprehensive knowledge of EU public affairs and expanding at the same time her international network in the transportation area.
Emanuela is serving in several roles IBTTA, the worldwide alliance of toll operators and of businesses that serve tolling: she was also IBTTA President in 2017.
Emanuela is particularly focused on road safety promotion and culture, investing her time and energy in widely disseminating international raising awareness road safety campaigns worldwide.
