Magyar Suzuki Corporation was founded in 1991 and remains the company’s only European manufacturing site. Production at the Esztergom plant began in 1992, where the Vitara and the new S-CROSS models are currently produced. Besides manufacturing vehicles for domestic and export markets, the company also sells motorcycles and outboard engines. The outboard motor division plays a leading role in the motorization of boating in Hungary, while Suzuki is also a key player in the regional motorcycle market.
